C. Dillon, Accessibility Co-ordinator of the Human Resources Department advised that City Council adopted Motion 17-G-038 at its meeting held on March 6, 2017 regarding the Age-Friendly Community Planning Project Implementation Plan and Project Final Report.  Ms. Dillon noted that input from the general public and seniors service providers obtained through surveys, focus groups, interviews and a community forum assisted in the development of this Age-Friendly Community Plan.  She advised that recently other neighbourhood associations, the Probus group and a few residents have expressed interest in providing their feedback regarding the Age-Friendly Community Plan.  R. Cotton suggested that these neighbourhood associations and residents be invited to future meetings of the Seniors Advisory Committee for the opportunity to provide their feedback concerning the Age-Friendly Community Plan.
