Bill Boyes, Fire Chief provided a presentation concerning the Barrie Fire and Emergency Service (BFES) 2016 Annual Report.

Fire Chief Boyes discussed slides concerning the following topics:

·	The organizational structure of the BFES;
·	The strategic priorities of the BFES;
·	Highlights from the 2016 Annual Report;
·	Graphs illustrating the following:
o	The total incident response over the past eight years;
o	The percentage increase in incident volumes over the past six years;
o	The 2015/2016 number of incidents by month;
o	The percentage of time that the six minutes incident response was achieved between 2010-2016;
o	The number of fires with dollar loss for the past seven years;  
o	The total dollar loss between 2010-2016;
o	2016 BFES incident response by type;
o	The five year average versus 2016 by incident response type;
·	A map illustrating the location of 2016 fires;
·	An outline of the BFES Promising Practices Study prepared by Susan Braedley; and
