He called upon Mr. Angus Roy, the Team Manager and a Team Representative to the podium to recognize the Team and to provide an overview of their season. Mr. Dave Mills, President of the Barrie Baycats commented that the Barrie Baycats Team had a good run and that they are ready for next season. Mr. Roy discussed the Team’s season, noting that they had a slow start by their standards and finished the season with 27 and 8. He commented that this Team is a reflection of the Barrie community, a wonderful group of people, with a wide variety of skills working towards a common goal. Mr. Roy thanked members of Council for the recognition and noted that they are very proud to be representatives of the City of Barrie and hope they can do it again next year.
