J. Goulie, Recreation Programmer provided a publication entitled “55+ Information Directory”. Ms. Goulie advised that the directory was distributed to City residents in the Barrie Examiner in 2014 and provided information associated with:

·	Assistive devices;
·	Transportation services;
·	Shopping assistance;
·	Counselling services;
·	Home health care and support services;
·	Food services;
·	Accommodations and housing services;
·	Government, financial and legal services;
·	Volunteer Opportunities;
·	Recreation, clubs and lifelong learning; and
·	Community Agencies.

Ms. Goulie noted that a 55+ Information Directory has not been circulated to residents since 2014. She indicated that the directory was beneficial to seniors as it offered a paper directory and easy access to assistance.

The Committee deferred this item to a future meeting to in order to have staff investigate the feasibility of re-creating the 55+ Information Directory.
