Former Mayor Janice Laking and Bill Sergeant representatives of the German and Harrogate Twinning Subcommittees of the International Relations Committee provided a presentation regarding the recent activities to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the twinning relationship with Zweibrücken, Germany. Ms. Laking commented that 2017 marked the 20th Anniversary of the twinning relationship between the City of Barrie and Zweibrücken, Germany. Ms. Laking highlighted that the relationship between the two cities has been very successful.
