C. Dillon, Accessibility Co-ordinator provided an update concerning the Age-Friendly Community Plan project. She advised that the Plan was presented to the Executive Management Team in January, 2017 and that a staff report will be going forward to General Committee at a future meeting.

Ms. Dillon advised that the City will not be applying to the Province of Ontario for a grant to implement the Age-Friendly Community Plan as the Plan does not meet any of the grant criteria.

Ms. Dillon also advised that an evaluation for the Age-Friendly Communities Plan will be released in the near future and that it will align closely with the Plan and the World Health Organization.
