The Committee discussed potential listings for the Barrie Heritage Register of three annexed properties that were previously listed on the Innisfil Municipal Heritage Register:  793 Mapleview Drive East, 180 McKay Road East and 54 St. Paul’s Crescent (St. Paul’s Anglican Church).

The Committee also reviewed correspondence from the Township of Oro-Medonte dated March 15, 2017 regarding a potential listing of 190 Shanty Bay Road on the Barrie Heritage Register.

793 Mapleview Drive East:

D. Pratt and H. Johnston of Pratt Development reviewed the current condition of its property at 793 Mapleview Drive East.  Mr. Pratt referred to correspondence from Pratt Development dated May 12, 2017 that included photographs and topographic maps of the property.  He noted that 793 Mapleview Drive East has been vacant for several years and that it has been significantly damaged through fire and vandalism.
