C. Dillon, Accessibility Co-ordinator discussed the progress of implementing the Age-Friendly Community Plan in regards to the recommended areas identified within the plan that included the following eight key areas:

1.	Outdoor Spaces and Buildings; 
2.	Transportation; 
3.	Housing; 
4.	Recreation and Social Participation; 
5.	Respect and Social Inclusion; 
6.	Civic Participation and Employment; 
7.	Community and Information; and 
8.	Community and Health Services.  

Ms. Dillon noted that she will be meeting with City staff for further updates on the progress of the Age-Friendly Community Plan and will provide updates at a future meetings.

Ms. Dillon advised that a final report was sent to the Province of Ontario outlining the City of Barrie Age-Friendly Committee Plan.</description><pubDate>Wed, 22 Feb 2023 19:46:24 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
