Title: POTENTIAL LISTINGS FOR THE HERITAGE REGISTER The Committee discussed potential listings for the Barrie Heritage Register of three annexed properties that were previously listed on the Innisfil Municipal Heritage Register: 793 Mapleview Drive East, 180 McKay Road East and 54 St. Paul's Crescent (St. Paul's Anglican Church). The Committee also reviewed correspondence from the Township of Oro-Medonte dated March 15, 2017 regarding a potential listing of 190 Shanty Bay Road on the Barrie Heritage Register. 793 Mapleview Drive East: D. Pratt and H. Johnston of Pratt Development reviewed the current condition of its property at 793 Mapleview Drive East. Mr. Pratt referred to correspondence from Pratt Development dated May 12, 2017 that included photographs and topographic maps of the property. The Committee discussed potential listings for the Barrie Heritage Register of three annexed properties that were previously listed on the Innisfil Municipal Heritage Register: 793 Mapleview Drive East, 180 McKay Road East and 54 St. Paul's Crescent (St. Paul's Anglican Church).

The Committee also reviewed correspondence from the Township of Oro-Medonte dated March 15, 2017 regarding a potential listing of 190 Shanty Bay Road on the Barrie Heritage Register.

793 Mapleview Drive East:

D. Pratt and H. Johnston of Pratt Development reviewed the current condition of its property at 793 Mapleview Drive East. Mr. Pratt referred to correspondence from Pratt Development dated May 12, 2017 that included photographs and topographic maps of the property. He noted that 793 Mapleview Drive East has been vacant for several years and that it has been significantly damaged through fire and vandalism. Mr. Johnston reviewed topographic maps that included the house, Environmental Protection Limit and Floodline. He noted that Property Standards staff from the City's Enforcement Services Branch have inspected this property. Mr. Johnston advised that Pratt Development would be applying for a demolition permit for 793 Mapleview Drive East and requested that this property not be added to the Barrie Heritage Register.

The Committee asked questions regarding the information provided and received responses.

The Committee supported the request by Pratt Development and decided not to add 793 Mapleview Drive East to the Heritage Register.

180 McKay Road East:

A. and M. Galton, property owners of 180 McKay Road East provided a brief historical overview of their residential property which was formerly the Vine Railway Station. Mr. and Mrs. Galton requested that 180 McKay Road East be added to the Barrie Heritage Register.

The Committee recommended adding 180 McKay Road East to the Heritage Register.
