Title: CONCERNS ASSOCIATED WITH SENIORS HOUSING Carol Stevenson provided a presentation regarding her concerns associated with seniors housing in the City. Ms. Stevenson discussed the following living experiences that she and her neighbours have experienced with seniors housing: * The background information and purpose of the presentation; * The living experiences of Ms. Stevenson and surrounding neighbours; and * The macro level concerns associated to seniors housing in the City such as affordable housing, unsafe living condition, absentee landlords and safety and security in their homes and the surrounding neighbourhoods. In closing, Ms. Stevenson expressed her concerns for seniors living in the City and commented that seniors need a place to call home that is affordable, and safe mentally, physically and emotionally. Members of the Committee asked a number of questions to Ms. Stevenson and to City staff and received responses.
