Chief Greenwood discussed slides regarding the following topics:
 
·      Core police services including, Crime Prevention, Assistance to victims of crime, Law Enforcement, Emergency Response and public order maintenance;
 
·      Key initiatives that are being implemented as part of the Barrie Police Service Strategic Plan;
 
·      Goals associated with the Strategic Business Plan 2014-2016 including ensuring public safety and security, enhancing community mobilization and engagement, developing and engaging their people, organizational sustainability and delivering quality service;
 
·      The organizational structure for Barrie Police Service;
 
·      2014 successes and 2015 goals/ongoing improvements for the Police Service;
 
·      Services provided by the Police Service including Operational Services, Corporate Services, Investigation Services and Command, the Platoon, its Community Partners, Communications, Auxiliary, Court House management, Policy and Planning, Training, Quartermaster, Infrastructure Fleet, Investigation Services, general assignment Executive Command;
 
·      Federal and Provincial funding and grants received; and
 
·      A summary of the operational and capital expenses including.
 
In closing, Chief Greenwood, thanked the members of the Police Services Board, the Barrie Police Service and community.
 
Members of Council asked a number of questions and received responses.
