Mr. D. Piper and Mr. B. Logan provided a presentation regarding Connecting Seniors with Young Adults in the Community Program.

 

Mr. Piper and Mr. Logan discussed slides concerning the following topics:

 

                     The background on a Non-Profit Organization named “Beyond Potential”;

                     The organization’s goal to “Add Value to People’s Lives” through leadership, volunteering and building relationships between seniors and young adults;

                     The inspirations for creating the program; including:

In closing, Mr. Piper and Mr. Logan advised that the program is in the early stages and that they are working towards partnering a senior’s residence and a Barrie high school in the near future.
