Mr. Waring, member of the Simcoe Community Services Self Advocates Council discussed the background of the Simcoe Community Services. Mr. Waring highlighted the programs and services offered by the Simcoe Community Services. Mr. Waring provided an overview of the Simcoe Community Services Self Advocates Bill of Rights. M. Cope, member of the Simcoe Community Services, Self Advocates Council discussed her concerns related to transit and accessibility to buildings.  Ms. Cope noted that she felt that many improvements have been made to promote accessibility in the municipality.

 

Members of the Committee asked a number of questions of the presenters and received responses.
