Title: DISCUSSION REGARDING TRANSIT K. Ashworth shared her concerns regarding transit accessibility challenges. Ms. Ashworth discussed problems she has experienced on Barrie Transit concerning: wheelchair securement and equipment functionality, snow clearing at conventional bus stops and booking trips on specialized transit. Mr. Zimmerman noted that transit enquiries and complaints could be emailed to transit@barrie.ca . The Committee asked a number of questions and received responses from Mr. Zimmerman. C. Dillon, Accessibility Co-ordinator provided an overview of the Travel Training Program offered by Guelph Transit.
