SENIORS EVENTS/UPDATES
The Committee discussed the following events:
• The Annual General Meeting hosted by Chapter 36 of the Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP) to be held on November 20, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 147 located at 410 St. Vincent Street, Barrie;
• The Allandale Christmas Craft and Bake Sale to be held on November 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Allandale 55+ Centre located at 190 Bayview Drive, Barrie;
• The Seniors’ Social to be held on December 5, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Simcoe County Museum located at 1151 Highway 26, Minesing;
• The Parkview Singers “Joy of Christmas” concert to be held on December 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace United Church located at 350 Grove Street East, Barrie; and
• The Be Green Show will be held on April 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Holly Community Centre located at 171 Mapleton Avenue, Barrie.
