That Section “C” of Second General Committee Report dated May 25, 2020, be amended by adding the following as paragraph 2.
2. That pending this review staff in Economic and Creative Development Department report back to General Committee to provide details concerning the findings of the BIA business survey concerning the pedestrianizing concept and the BIA business plan on marketing and promoting the recommended outcome.

That the amendment concerning a report back to General Committee regarding the details of the findings of the BIA survey amended to add the words “at their meeting of June 22, 2020” after the words “General Committee”.

Upon the question of the original motion moved by Deputy Mayor, B. Ward and seconded by Councillor, R. Thomson, the motion was CARRIED AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENT #1.
Councillor, K. Aylwin declared a potential pecuniary interest on the foregoing matter as his father owns a business on Dunlop Street. He did not participate in the discussion or vote on the matter. He left the virtual Council meeting.
