REVIEW OF THE OFFICIAL PLAN AND ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENTS TO PERMIT SECOND SUITES IN THE GEORGIAN NEIGHBOURHOOD STUDY BOUNDARY AREA
M. Banfield, Director of Development Services and M. Gallagher, Zoning Officer provided an update regarding the Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments to permit second suites in the Georgian Neighbourhood Study Boundary Area. She discussed the implementation plan and timelines associated with the proposed changes to permit second suites in the Georgian Neighbourhood. Ms. Banfield advised that she will circulate a draft of the Second Suites Declaration and Implementation Plan to the Committee for their feedback.
Members of Committee provided their feedback to Ms. Banfield and Mr. Gallagher and received responses from City staff.
The Committee agreed to invite staff from Development Services to the next meeting to further discuss the Second Suites Permissions in the Georgian Neighbourhood.
