STUDENT ORIENTATION AT GEORGIAN COLLEGE
Councillor Riepma provided an update regarding the winter semester student orientation held at Georgian College. R. Cardwell advised that volunteers with the Barrie East-End Homeowners Association (BEEHA) held a clothing drive in order to have gently used clothing to be available for distribution to students during the winter orientation session.
R. Cardwell advised that BEEHA is partnering with Georgian College in a program to have a buddy system connecting students with volunteers in the community.
