Gallo, Project Manager - Coordinator of Ecofest Barrie 2012 provided the Committee with a presentation concerning Ecofest 2012 to be held on June 9th and 10th, 2012 located in Heritage Park. Ms. Gallo advised the Committee that the festival will focus on awareness of environmentally friendly ideas and working towards a healthier Earth. She noted that Ecofest 2012 will contain educators, activists, artists, local businesses, children's activities, a local marketplace and interactive displays.   Action details Not available
TMP-4183 2  Item of DiscussionSUB-WATERSHED PLAN FOR BARRIE AND INNISFIL CREEKS W. Bando, Infrastructure Planning Engineer provided a presentation to the Committee concerning the Sub-watershed Plan for Barrie and Innisfil Creeks. He advised that a working group was initiated in July, 2011 to assist in the implementation of the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan. Mr. Bando commented that the working group has reviewed the Barrie and Innisfil Creeks Sub-watershed plan such as Aquatic Natural Heritage, Terrestrial Natural Heritage, Water Quality and Water Quantity.
