· The current nomination process for the Poet Laureate position;

· The role and responsibilities of the Poet Laureate;
· The City’s support for the program;

· A review of the key benchmarking data and common program expectations;
· The findings of the review by staff;
· Staff’s recommendations related to the goals of the program, deliverables asked of the Laureate, and the benchmarking exercise;
· The additional program requirements;
· The financial implications; and
· The next steps for the program.
