Fisher, President of the Barrie Historical Association, reviewed correspondence from the Barrie Historical Association dated October 24, 2017 regarding the installation of a heritage plaque in Kempenfelt Park to honour Sir James Gowan. Mr. Fisher explained that the Barrie Historical Association is requesting financial support from private donors in the amount of $2,500.00 for the remaining cost of this project.

R. White, Zoning Administrative Officer provided an update regarding the Draft Heritage Barrie Strategy. Mr. White noted that the Draft Heritage Strategy online survey closed on November 5, 2017. He advised that the Final Heritage Strategy Report including recommendations should be finalized by early January 2018.
