R. Warman, provided an update regarding the German Twinning. Mr. Warman commented that a delegation comprised on ten official delegates and thirteen citizens will be visiting the City of Barrie from May 3, 2017 to May 10, 2017 in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Twinning Certificate. J. Laking and R. Warman provided an outline of the proposed budget for hosting the delegation from Zwéibrücken, Germany.
The Committee approved additional expenditures of funds from the International Relations Committee account 01-06-0935-0000-3095 in the amount not to exceed $6,048.00 for costs associated with hosting a delegation from Zwéibrücken, Germany from May 3, 2017 to May 10, 2017.

Laking and himself will accompany the King Edward Choir to the Borough of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom. B. Crasco and E. Cudanin provided an update regarding Puerto Princesa, Philippines. B. Crasco commented that there is new Mayor in Puerto Princesa, Philippines. Mr. Crasco advised that he is waiting on a response from Puerto Princesa, Philippines on the status of the proposed twinning relationship. E. Cudanin noted that he has just returned from visiting Philippines and during his stay worked on promoting the twinning relationship between the City of Barrie and Puerto Princesa, Philippines. E.
