Diamantopolous, Facility Capital Supervisor provided an update regarding the future plans for Memorial Square and Meridian Place. Fischer, Supervisor of Parks Planning and Developments provided an update regarding the Lennox Community Park Accessibility Improvements. He discussed slides concerning the following topics: · Visual designs (View 1 and View 2) of the Lennox Community Park Playground; · A diagram of the Lennox Community Park (Site and Swing Plan); and · A diagram of Lennox Community Park (Playstructure Plan). In closing, Mr. Fischer commented that each park has their own theme that does provide a different play opportunity and experience for children. Mr. Fischer anticipates that construction of Lennox Community Park Playground will commence in June, 2017. Ms. Dillon advised that she will work with staff in Access Barrie regarding the design of the certificate. The Committee discussed having the awards for accessible businesses ready for October, 2017.
