Two individuals (V. Abolins on behalf of himself and his wife N. Abolins and M. McLelland) addressed the Committee concerning the parking on Berczy Street. They discussed the following items: · The impact of the parking prohibition on both sides on Berczy Street for its residents; · The potential to only prohibit parking on one side of the street to allow for property owners and residents to park on the street; · The safety concerns related to permitting any parking on Berczy Street; and · The narrowing of the street in winter due to snow and the concerns related to winter maintenance if parking is permitted.
