The Committee members discussed an adjustment formula to determine annual adjustments to Council compensation based on year-over-year difference in unemployment rates between the City of Barrie and Province of Ontario proposed by J. Dolan, Chair. The Committee members considered whether or not a maximum increase and decrease should be applied to the formula. The Committee members determined that this was not necessary and agreed recommend the formula as presented by J. Dolan as part of the Committee’s recommendations in the Report to General Committee. | | |
