Stevenson suggested that a two or three hour meeting be organized in early 2019 focusing on affordable seniors housing initiatives in the City of Barrie. C. Dillon, Accessibility Coordinator offered to contact representatives from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), the County of Simcoe’s Social Housing Department and the Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP) to provide an update to the Committee on seniors housing. C. Dillon, Accessibility Coordinator discussed promotional material from the County of Simcoe entitled “Simcoe County Age-Friendly Seniors Housing Grant Program”. Dillon, Accessibility Coordinator provided an update concerning the Seniors Advisory Committee’s budget for promotional material expenditures. Ms. Dillion noted that the content of the Committee’s promotional material must be reviewed by the City’s Access Barrie Department to ensure compliance with corporate branding. TMP-23172 1  Presentation - AC/RCFUTURE GOALS OF THE SENIORS ADVISORY COMMITTEE L. Stevenson reviewed the Terms of Reference for the Seniors Advisory Committee. Ms. Stevenson noted that the Mandate of the Committee is to represent and provide advice on Barrie seniors’ perspectives on municipal matters related to: · Seniors housing and related planning matters; · Transportation; and · Communications and civic participation by seniors. The Committee deferred discussion of its future goals to a future meeting. C.
