McArthur, Acting Deputy City Clerk clarified the reporting procedures associated to a subcommittee that was formed by an Advisory Committee. Ms. McArthur reiterated the Committee appointing Alan McNair as the representative for the Southshore Naturalization Subcommittee and that he will report back to the Active Transportation and Sustainability Committee (ATSC) on the Subcommittee’s actions. She advised that the applicable staff will be available during the ATSC meetings for information and comments on the items noted on the Agenda. The Committee agreed to a special meeting of the ATSC to be held on December 17, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. to discuss items associated to the Southshore Naturalization.Received  Action details Not available

Suggitt, Manager of Strategic Initiatives, Policy and Analysis discussed the status of the Sustainable Development Strategy. She advised that the Strategy was referred back to staff in the Planning and Building Services Department to review the goals and streamlining the actions plan. The Committee identified different docked and dockless systems that are either privately or publicly operated, how the docking stations work, the time period between renting and returning the bikes to the docking stations, and any problematic issues with the systems.
