Title: 2022 MEETING SCHEDULE - MANDATE DISCUSSIONS The Committee discussed the meeting schedule for the remainder of the 2018-2022 Term of Council. They agreed to schedule the Arts Advisory Committee meetings on the third Tuesday of each month, at 10:00 a.m. Amanda Dyke, Culture Officer (Development) and Stephannie Schlichter, Director of Economic and Creative Development provided a presentation concerning the culture plans and summary analysis to segue the Committee into a discussion on future meeting topics and the mandate. Ms. Dyke and Ms. Schlichter discussed slides concerning the following topics: · The existing plans for the City’s arts and culture; · An overview on the City’s Cultural Master Plan; · Recommendations and status updates for the Culture Master Plan; · An understanding of Barrie’s arts and culture markets; · Recommendations and status updates for the Marketing Plan; · The opportunities and future planning for the Committee; and · Other municipality samples of Arts and Culture Advisory Committee mandates.
