Tiana commented that she feels very fortunate to live in Barrie and she believes that City Council makes decisions in the best interest of all residents. Garrett FitzGerald of Kempenfelt Bay School thanked City Council and his fellow students for the opportunity to serve as Student Mayor. He noted that becoming Student Mayor has provided him with a better understanding of local government and that he realizes municipal decisions impact people every day. Garrett concluded by commenting that he enjoyed his experience as Student Mayor.
