Title: OPEN DELEGATION FROM DARICK BATTAGLIA REGARDING THE UNSAFE ROAD CONDITIONS ON JEAN STREET Darick Battaglia provided and Open Delegation concerning the road conditions on Jean Street. Mr. Battaglia advised that Jean Street and a portion of approximately 200 metres of Tyndale Road currently does not have municipal servicing. He discussed his observations of the unsafe road conditions of Jean Street. Mr. Battaglia described his concerns associated with narrow roadways, uneven and crumbling pavement, the open ditches that overflow when there is a heavy rainfall. He discussed how his neighbours are fixing old failing septic systems in the area. He commented that he felt that there is not appropriate storm water management for Jean Street given the close proximity to Lake Simcoe. Mr. Battaglia advised that when Jean Street was originally annexed from the Town of Innisfil that it was a cottage road, but now the street is considered as part of Barrie’s prominent transitional neighbourhoods.
