Title: OPEN DELEGATION BY SCOTT BONDY - SUMP PUMP DRAINAGE HOOK UP Mr. S. Bondy provided an open delegation regarding the drainage around his home. Mr. Bondy indicated that he is addressing the Committee to ask to have the sump pump connected to drain into the storm sewer at 111 Monarchy Street. Mr. Bondy reviewed the steps that he has taken to date to try and rectify the drainage problem, including a completion of a Mike Holmes inspection, hiring a structural engineer, and contacting the builder of his home, Baywood Homes. Mr. Bondy noted that he has not been able to reach Baywood Homes as they are no longer in business. He discussed that many of the homes in the neighbourhood have their sump pumps drain into the sanitary sewer system. He indicated that he feels the adjacent lots to his property drain into his backyard and that he believes the slopes and swales in his backyard are inadequate. He stated that the sump pump drains over the sidewalk and he feels it creates a safety issue. Mr. Bondy indicated that he has discussed the drainage problems with staff in the Engineering D
