Title: COMMENTS FROM OUTGOING STUDENT MAYOR Isabel Alonso Vilarino of Innisdale Secondary School thanked members of City Council and the Innisdale Secondary School Student Council for the opportunity to serve as Student Mayor. She commented that she enjoyed the opportunity to learn about municipal politics. She discussed that it was an eye opening experience being part of the budget discussions. Isabel observed that there were a number of factors considered by members of City Council in the decision making process, including weighing the pros and cons, the consequences of a decision and citizen involvement in the process. She recognized the efforts of City Council for making the City of Barrie a better place. In closing, Isabel reiterated her appreciation to the members of City Council and her Student Council for the opportunity to serve as Student Mayor.
