Title: SENIORS AND ACCESSIBILITY COMMUNITY SURVEY Cheryl Dillon, Abilities and Accessibility Management Specialist, reported that part of the process of updating the City's 2022 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan is surveying the community to obtain senior and accessibility concerns. Committee members suggested areas to be included in the survey, including seniors' access to services, parks and Senior Centres, designated seniors' parking, communication methods and the importance of paper communication, suggested changes or improvements to Senior Centres, sidewalk conditions, perceived support from the community, subjective rating of personal activity level and the main barriers people encounter, perceived access to healthcare, and community safety. Ms. Dillon reported that she will distribute the survey to Committee members when it is finalized.
