Title: COMMENTS FROM OUTGOING STUDENT MAYORS Sydney Foster of Ardagh Bluffs Public School noted that she has spent the last few Mondays witnessing discussions including the 2014 Budget Plan and the Gilroy Plan of Subdivision. She extended her appreciation to the Mayor and Members of Council for the opportunity to be Student Mayor. She indicated that not many students are provided with this opportunity and she is grateful for it. In closing, Sydney again thanked City Council for all the work they do for the City of Barrie. Chemar Hensley of Hyde Park Public School thanked the Mayor and Members of Council for making the experience of being Student Mayor great. He also thanked the Principal, Vice Principal and his teacher at Hyde Park for providing him with the opportunity. Chemar indicated that he has learned a lot about the political process. Chemar Hensley of Hyde Park Public School thanked the Mayor and Members of Council for making the experience of being Student Mayor great.  He also thanked the Principal, Vice Principal and his teacher at Hyde Park for providing him with the opportunity.  Chemar indicated that he has learned a lot about the political process.  He observed that he did not have a significant interest in politics prior to his term as Student Mayor but the influence and impact of decisions made by Council related to the community has changed his mind.  In closing, Chemar noted that it is important for his generation to be involved in the community to influence change and he thanked the Members of Council for the experience.
