Mr. McConnell discussed slides concerning the following topics: * A summary of Barrie's Transit Vision Project including the purpose and scope of the project; * The public engagements undertaken in 2021 and 2022; * The outcome from the first public consultation; * The Council approved guidelines for the new network vision; * Maps illustrating the proposed transit network, the accommodation for existing customers, and the improved frequencies for the network; * The public call to action response; * The outcome of second public consultation; and * The next steps and phase implementation. Members of the Committee asked a number of questions to City staff and received responses.
