Thomson Whereas regulation 530/22 of the Municipal Act provides that council may pass a resolution to shorten the 30 day period to pass amendments to the budget after the budget is provided by the head of council; and Whereas members of Council will be receiving the City's Operating and Capital Budgets on November 15, 2023, and the Service Partner Budgets on January 17, 2024; and Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Barrie shorten the 30 day time period to pass amendments to the City of Barrie Operating and Capital Budgets to December 6, 2023 and Service Partner Budgets to January 31, 2024.
