Title: THIS MONTH IN BARRIE AND BARRIE COMPASS Scott Lamantia, Manager of Marketing and Communications provided an update to the committee regarding the newspaper pilot project This Month in Barrie with Barrie Compass. Mr. Lamantia discussed the removal of newspapers causing some concerns with citizens being up to date on relevant information. Mr. Lamantia advised that Barrie Compass is a private newspaper company that has monthly paper deliveries that focus on 6 main seasonal campaigns and highlights events going on in the City. Committee members asked if the newspaper could be mailed out with the water billing and if a Public Notice Page could be added to the newspaper. Members discussed adding the year to the date printed, as well as adding page numbers.
