CITY OF BARRIE CODE OF CONDUCT COMPLAINT INVESTIGATION REPORT #250923
Councillor C. Riepma declared a potential pecuniary interest on this matter as he is the Respondent named in the City of Barrie Code of Conduct Complaint Investigation Report #250923 dated September 20, 2024. He did not participate in the discussion or vote on the matter. He left the Council Chambers.

1. That the City of Barrie Code of Conduct Complaint Investigation Report #250923 dated September 20, 2024, be received.
2. That pursuant to section 27.3 of the Code of Conduct that the respondent be given a penalty of a reprimand.
3. That in accordance with the Integrity Commissioners Report dated September 20, 2024, that the following remedial action be undertaken by the Respondent:
That Councillor Riepma provide in writing to the Clerk by October 31, 2024, his acknowledgement that in accordance with Policy C:07 Use of Corporate Resources for Election Purposes that the use of the City’s voice mail system, computer network (including the City’s e-mail system (including website, social media, etc.) and/or equipment to distribute election related correspondence or record election related messages is prohibited and that Distribution Lists or contact lists be developed utilizing City of Barrie Corporate resources or through contact in an Elected Official’s role cannot be utilized for election purposes.
