NOMINATING A SENIOR/CAREGIVER OF THE YEAR
Councillor, A. Kungl discussed the nominations for a Senior of the Year done by the City of Orillia and the Town of Wasaga Beach and inquired if the Committee would like to incorporate something into its mandate. Councillor Kungl also mentioned the potential for a seniors category for the Annual Spirit Catcher Award.
The Committee discussed creating an award category for seniors and/or caregivers as a form of recognition of their talents or contributions within the community.
