Title: OACAO CONFERENCE R. Cotton, Chair and G. Seis, Committee Member provided an update regarding their experience at the 2015 Older Adult Centres' Association of Ontario (OACAO) Conference. Mr. Cotton provided an overview of the workshops he attended, which included, Fifty Shades of Aging, the "New" Retirement and Dementia Friendly Communities. Ms. Seis provided an overview on the workshops she attended, which included, Emotional Intelligence - Expanding Influence, Empowering Older Adults Through Community Partnerships, Saying "No' and Making Requests without making an Enemy. Mr. Cotton and Ms. Seis noted that the OACAO Conference and was a very informative experience.
