Ms. Laking advised that she was representing the late Sam Cancilla and his family. She discussed former Alderman Cancilla's role in maintaining the park that now bears his name. Ms. Laking noted that if Mr. Cancilla was here he would want to save the gazebo. She noted that Mr. Cancilla was a historian, preservationist and she believes the gazebo needs to be reused. In closing, Ms. Laking commented that if Sam's name is on the park, the gazebo needs to stay in the park.
