Title: GYPSY MOTH REPORT - NEXT STEPS Mr. Rankin indicated that there will be a presentation at the February 8, 2022, City Building Committee meeting from an expert from Bio Forests concerning the different management options for this coming year and providing an update on what could be expected in the spring, in terms of the Gypsy Moths and hotspots. Members of the Committee asked questions of staff regarding City owned trees and whether staff would attend to remove the eggs before they hatched in May and discussed the potential for volunteers to help with the egg scraping. Staff responded that they will be attending to remove the egg masses, add banding, and add burlap to trees in the hotspot zones.
