Title: SENIORS EVENTS/INFORMATION/UPDATES Gwen Kavanagh advised that the Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP) Barrie Chapter is continuing to work on the Seniors Community Fund to assist seniors living at or below the poverty line in the City of Barrie. Colin Green informed the Committee that he is leaving his position at the Gilbert Centre and on the Active Transportation and Sustainability Advisory Committee. Lucia Ricardo advised that the Nanji Family Foundation CNIB SmartLife Centre is continuing to offer a wide array of programming, one-on-one training with accessible technology, however no in-person groups. Councillor, A. Kungl discussed "Walk with Me" Wednesdays at the Georgian Mall offering a form of physical activity from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. before the stores open for business. She discussed other programs for physical activity such as drop-in programs, an All-Body Swims, pickleball, and facility resources for all ages.
