Title: CLIMATE CHANGE STRATEGY PROJECT J. Weston, Director of Engineering provided an update regarding the Climate Change Strategy Project. She advised that ICLEI Canada (Local Governments for Sustainability) has been retained to work with the City of Barrie on the Climate Change Adaptation Strategy. Ms. Weston advised that a Stakeholder Advisory Group is being established. She noted that the Stakeholder Advisory Group membership will consist of representation from local groups and one representative from the Environmental Advisory Committee. The Committee requested that further information be provided concerning the composition of the Stakeholder Advisory Group and when the meetings would be taking place. The Committee asked that this item be further discussed at a future meeting.
