SENIORS HOUSING
The Committee discussed the Council resolution regarding Seniors Housing. The Committee provided suggestions on how to move forward with the Seniors Housing initiative including designating vacant properties as Seniors Housing in new developments, second suite housing and co-housing possibilities.
The Committee discussed the concept of Aging in Place, which is a strategy to support seniors in their homes to provide affordable services such as home maintenance, housekeeping and healthcare providers.
