1. That the applicable City Policies be amended to define a process for members of Council to fundraise or enter into third-party fundraising partnerships to ensure further accountability and transparency.
2. That staff in the Legal Services Department be requested to obtain external legal advice concerning the Heart Barrie sign, including any potential implications and actions that could be undertaken as a result of the lack of financial information provided by the third party for the Heart Barrie Landmark sign in their correspondence received March 15, 2023 to be funded from the Reinvestment Reserve and report back to the Finance and Responsible Governance Committee.
