Title: UPDATE ON HERITAGE TRAIL W. Fischer, Supervisor of Parks Planning and Development provided an update on the Heritage Trail. Mr. Fischer noted that the Heritage Trail was a project initiated by former Mayor Willard Kinzie to promote Barrie's History along the waterfront. Mr. Fischer commented that staff in the Engineering Department met with the Heritage Trail Working Group to review preliminary designs for the implementation of seven locations for signage along the waterfront in 2016. Mr. Fischer noted that each of the proposed locations along the waterfront will be accessible from the main waterfront recreational trail and will incorporate a review by C. Dillon to ensure they are AODA compliant.
