Ms. McKeown acknowledged that representatives of Nature Barrie presented a certificate to Mayor Nuttall on May 10, 2023 designating the City of Barrie as a Bird Friendly City. She advised that the City of Barrie is the 15th municipality in Canada to earn the designation and has worked in collaboration with Nature Barrie and Nature Canada.
