OPERATING AND CAPITAL COSTS - 2025 ICE STORM

Whereas the municipality of the City of Barrie has eligible costs directly linked to the March 2025 ice storm, the Council of The Corporation of the City of Barrie hereby requests assistance under the Municipal Ice Storm Assistance Program with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing to allow for the City of Barrie to submit a claim for costs associated with the ice storm; and
Further that Colleen Smith, Interim Director of Finance, be given delegated authority to verify and attest to the accuracy of the claim.
