Title: AUTOMATED SPEED ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM Moved by: Deputy Mayor, R. Thomson Seconded by: Councillor, G. Harvey That staff be directed to move towards phasing out the Automated Speed Enforcement Program with an end date of December 31, 2025 unless otherwise directed by the Province of Ontario; and That notwithstanding the Procurement By-law, staff be authorized to negotiate agreement(s) to implement a Red Light Camera Program in the City of Barrie, based on evaluation of best value to the City and report back to General Committee prior to execution of an agreement detailing costs, logistics and timing of the program and that funding for this program come from the ASE Reserve; and That staff in the Development Services Department continue to explore other traffic calming measures that could be installed throughout the City and report back to the Community Safety Committee with options; and That correspondence be sent to the Provincial Government requesting funding to assist with addition...
